Staff Research Associate

Catherine Wilkerson graduated from UC Davis in 2014 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology, Biology Emphasis. She has strong interests in computer science, information technology, cognition, and neuroscience. During her undergraduate degree, Catherine worked on a research project to study the effects of music on cognition and memory. She has experience as a research assistant for a genetics and Alzheimer’s disease study. After she graduated she worked as a residential counselor and advocate for people with disabilities, information management specialist with a movie production company, and an operations/technical trainer for an engineering company implementing a new software.

Catherine is currently working with Dr. Arevian as a staff research assistant on a project called Chorus. Chorus is a web based application that breaks down the financial and technical barriers for health professionals to build mobile apps for health intervention creation and dissemination.
